Things to do around Bryan / College Station

Cool Places

Texas A&M University Campus

The Texas A&M Campus is one of the largest in the nation with a golf course and airport on campus. The campus has some really great parks such as Research Park (at University Drive and Research Parkway) or the Bonfire Memorial. While on campus you may want to visit the George Bush Library & Museum or if you are into Aggie football, visit the Sports Museum at Kyle Field.

Wolf Pen Creek Park

College Station has some great parks, and this is one of the best. The park’s headline feature is an amphitheater surrounded by a small pond however we think the best feature is the walking trail. If you’re looking for a nice 2 mile jogging route this can’t be beat. The paved trail follows a small stream mostly hidden from the view of traffic.

Historic Downtown Bryan

An eclectic area being revitalized as a historic main-street, USA. The area offers several antique shops, glass works, and several of the best restaurants in the city: Lemon Wedge, Café Capri, and Maddens. For later in the evening there are several drinking establishments including Uncorked wine bar, and Murphy’s Law Pub featuring “authentic” Irish and Germain fair.
